Japanese Quail Trio

• They can lay over 200 eggs in their first year.
• They are very easy to keep and do not need a lot of space.
• They will live from 2 - 2.5 years.

What We Think

Quail are a great productive pet to keep, they are minimal fuss and are very entertaining. If you have an old pet cage the set up costs of quail can be next to nothing. All you need is a small drinker and feeder and a bag of food and this will last a quartet of quail a long time. Bedding can be very simple and cleaning out is not needed too frequently as they do not create much mess. Japanese quail are very good layers and especaly easy to keep, just make sure you don't let them out, they are incredibly difficult to catch!
